If you don’t know what I am talking about, read this first.
People participating in 30 Days of Zadie Smith include Britt, Faith, Dylan, Maria, Ifrah, Huda, and some other people who’ve said they’d participate (on a smaller scale).
A lot of people have asked what the “rules” are, to which I’ve replied, “what are rules?” because let’s face it, this is something no one has to do even if doing it would be awesome. Basically, it’s simple: if you’ve never read any of Zadie’s novels, go to the library or the bookstore and get one of her novels and read that novel, and write diary entries on your blog as you go along (these diary entries can even be one sentence in length- your call). Or, if you’re crazy like the people I listed above, then you can reread (or finish reading) one or all of her books and lesser known essays and short stories.
